ATELIER DE L'AVENIR

ATELIER DE L'AVENIR

Atelier de l'Avenir (workshop of the future) is a social enterprise and a subsidiary of Ateliers du Monceau (A sheltered workshop in the form of a not-for-profit). As such, its aim is to create employment for persons with disabilities, predominantly the deaf and hard-of-hearing.

The Atelier de l'Avenir's economic activity involves the industrial construction and marketing of progressive, sustainable and economic houses and buildings made from timber frames. Within the context of the Marshall plan, the Atelier de l'Avenir has developed its own construction system: CIMEDE

The following are products developed by Atelier de l'Avenir:

-          The construction of progressive, energy efficient buildings with high performance acoustics made from timber frames (CIMEDE);

-          The construction of progressive, prefabricated timber modules for schools (ECOMOD);

-          Walls, partitions, flooring and roofing from timber frames.
